HTML versus Printed version

This set of Web pages includes all of the text from my book, with the following differences.

screen shots of WWW Home Pages are provided as links (URLs) instead of images
figures with arrows have been translated to HTML instead of images
tables (of resources, etc.) have not been converted yet, with the exception of Table 4-1 which has been done in two ways as a model
typographical errors have been corrected where I've found them
links (URLs) have been updated wherever a site has changed (let me know if you find others that are bad)
you have an easy way to send me feedback on what you think of the book. Just email me at franks@ssc.ucla.edu.

I hope you enjoy this, now go out and publish something yourself.
